
For more than 14 years, Dr. Amron has been highly respected for his specialized approach to liposuction surgery, done under local anesthesia. He is an artist and a perfectionist who prides himself on achieving a properly proportioned and well balanced look for his patientsRaised in Los Angeles, Dr. Amron attended both the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of California, San Diego receiving his undergraduate degree in biology. He was awarded his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then returned to Southern California to continue his post graduate work and focus on dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
After completing his internship and residency at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, he was awarded the prestigious Dermatology Foundation Research Fellowship and completed two years of scientific and clinical research at UCLA, primarily working on growth characteristics of skin cancer. He then completed his dermatology residency at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center, receiving extensive training in clinical dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Amron is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Liposuction Surgery, the American Society for MOHS Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Amron has published numerous articles in dermatologic journals and has authored dermatologic surgery and medical textbook chapters. He has lectured nationally to the medical community on dermatologic surgery, including giving talks to both the Pacific Dermatologic Association and American Academy of Dermatology. In addition, he has served as a peer manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery and the Archives of Dermatology.
Dr. Amron has a worldwide reputation as an expert in liposuction and revision liposuction procedures. He has meticulously sculpted thousands of patients and is well respected for achieving consistent and outstanding results with pure tumescent liposuction. He has instructed other surgeons on his philosophy and techniques in fat reduction and removal. He is also an outspoken advocate of mini liposuction which is performed in less than one hour and focuses on one or two trouble spots.

He has also been featured in numerous cosmetic surgery articles appearing in numerous magazines and newspapers.
Dr. Amron’s creativity extends outside medicine with an interest in music. He is an accomplished guitarist, singer and songwriter. He also enjoys skiing, fishing and playing tennis. Dr. Amron maintains strong spiritual and religious ties to his community, where he serves as an active member of his synagogue’s board of directors.
